Austinmer Gardens B&B is located in a quiet village situated between the mountains and the sea.

Our beaches are small and cosy with interesting rock platforms to explore. The main patrolled beach is a short walk from the back gate and through Glastonbury Gardens.

There are more pretty beaches close by for those who like to stroll, or just relax on the sand in peace and quiet.

The escarpment is close by for bushwalking, or for Lookouts showing beautiful panoramic views of the Illawarra coastline.

Within walking distance are great cafes and restaurants either at the beach or nearby Moore Street. Austinmer Bowling Club and Headlands Hotel also provide good food.

A wonderful shopping experience can be enjoyed just 2km down the road at Thirroul township with its new varied range of boutique shops.

Coming from the north, Austinmer can be reached either by going down Bulli Pass, or by taking the Helensburgh / Stanwell Park turnoff along the coast road and its magnificent Sea Cliff Bridge.

Bulli Pass

At the bottom of the Pass turn left into Lawrence Hargrave Drive, through Thirroul, past Austinmer Beach, past Glastonbury Gardens on the left, then next left into Boyce Avenue.

Sea Cliff Bridge

Take Stanwell Park turnoff, through the roundabout, sharp left at Bald Hill, continue south along Princes Highway (Grand Pacific Drive), through Coledale, then right turn into Boyce Avenue with care. Alternatively, if the traffic is busy, turn right at the only set of lights in Austinmer and go around the block.
